52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Jazzberry

Feeling summery this week.

I love the color that is titled “Jazzberry” this week. It’s like a magenta/plum/fushia, but in any case it’s beautiful. Surprisingly enough I didn’t have too much trouble finding this color, either: all I had to do was stop by Collabor88, and voila! I love this top from Boom, it feels so bright and summery.

I’m also wearing my newest hair favorite this week; “Breeze” by Elikatira, also for Collabor88. The hair is pure perfection, go pick it up for only 88L per pack while it’s still available!

Fashionably Late.

I don’t usually go for complete outfit packages, and when I do I typically mix-and-match the outfit with items I already have in my Inventory. Not to say that these two pieces aren’t great mix-and-match items – they definitely are! This particular outfit by Vive9, however, is an exception to my typical routine: I love the way it was put together already! Not much work for me, but sometimes it’s nice to have a little break. ;-)

I know Fashionably Late is being blogged constantly lately, but I couldn’t resist the temptation to share my own experience with you. I was impressed by the quality of the items and stores represented there, I would definitely recommend checking it out if you already haven’t. Finally got around to blogging a new Maitreya item!

Whenever I hear there’s a new item at Maitreya, I get so excited. Maitreya’s products are always high quality, well made, and drop-dead gorgeous. This boyfriend style shirt is no exception to Maitreya’s excellent legacy, but the only thing I wish was that the shirt was released in some patterns and a few other colors. That’s all! You could definitely wear this shirt as is, it certainly is long enough and the size is adjustable, but I’m trying to keep it PG here. ;-)

What else? I feel like I haven’t blogged in a while, and I miss you guys! As I mentioned a little while ago, I’ll be away on vacation next week so blogging obviously won’t be a priority, but I am going to try my best to throw up a quick 52 Weeks of Color Challenge post for that week!

Having a Geekgasm!

Some new items from my recent Geekgasm Hunt adventures.

Oh, to be a geek nowadays. Such fun, especially in Second Life! The latest hunt I’m tackling is the Geekgasm Hunt, which I’m completely new to but was introduced through Lilie Barrs and her lovely set of earrings that she created for the hunt {I’ll be sure to wear them in an upcoming post! <3}. Today I’m sporting some of the first items you find in the hunt: a little jumpsuit outfit, some adorable glasses, and a bowtie necklace {which coordinates perfectly with the outfit, must I add}. All of the hunt items are free, and though not all of them are my cup of tea I often find that with these free item hunts. But, as you can see, there are some very high-quality items to be found as well! Thank you to all of the designers and people who helped to coordinate this hunt, your time and passion are well appreciated! <3

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Ruby & Denim

I’m really back this time, I promise!

Well, I’m back – even though I’ve only been “gone” for a little while, many things have changed! For one thing, WordPress has a much cleaner blogging interface, which was a nice surprise, and there’s a lot of newness in the SL fashion and beauty world that I’ve missed! :-( I can’t even bear to think of how many awesome things I missed for 50L Fridays and all of the other releases that I failed to show up at… /shudders.

Anywho, today I am wearing a new release! Whippet & Buck recently started selling this skirt {at least I hope recently!} and I am in love with it! Of course, another reason why I love it so much is because it’s Ruby, also known as the color of Week 30 of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge!

Next, there is this GORGEOUS new hair from [elikatira]. I mean, which [elikatira] hair isn’t gorgeous, but I especially love this one. So casual and adorable! :-)

I’m crossing my fingers that Mochi Milena finally releases the Elly skin line of Pink Fuel soon, but we can only hope right?! See you all next week, I promise to have a style post up this week at some point! <33
