52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Brick Red

My interpretation of Brick Red.

When I saw the color swatch for Brick Red, I thought that it looked more like a deep pink than any shade of red. So, I decided to wear this beautiful pink top from The Whore Mansion (don’t you just love that name?), but, since it’s a little too skimpy for Alina, I put this lace shirt from Whippet & Buck underneath it. I’d also like to spotlight this gorgeous hair from [elikatira]. Though I’m wearing the version without the hat, I love both versions and just can’t get enough of this hair! 52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Liver

I think the biggest challenge with this week’s color was not necessarily finding it, but making it look… pretty, haha. When you first hear Liver, let’s just say that pleasant images don’t come to mind. So, I paired my Liver-colored top with a pinky red skirt and called it a day. When does pink not make things pretty?

A classy spin on old favorites.

Isn’t my daily hair color change fun?! It certainly spices things up and I’m loving the change! Basically, [elikatira] is my savior with their Essentials packs – blonde, brown, black, and red hairs all in one pack? Love!

I adore the outfit I’m showing you guys today. I’m incorporating an old looking shirt with some more sophisticated accessories, which is so fun. I enjoy making outfits with unexpected styles, and this grungy/high-class look is cute! I got this shirt from Tres Blah at the most recent 50L Friday, which, as you know, is one of my favorite weekly events in SL. And, of course, how could I not give credit to the beautiful Elly skin from Pink Fuel that I wear everyday – today I’m wearing the Pure version instead, and it’s perfect!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Ruby & Denim

I’m really back this time, I promise!

Well, I’m back – even though I’ve only been “gone” for a little while, many things have changed! For one thing, WordPress has a much cleaner blogging interface, which was a nice surprise, and there’s a lot of newness in the SL fashion and beauty world that I’ve missed! :-( I can’t even bear to think of how many awesome things I missed for 50L Fridays and all of the other releases that I failed to show up at… /shudders.

Anywho, today I am wearing a new release! Whippet & Buck recently started selling this skirt {at least I hope recently!} and I am in love with it! Of course, another reason why I love it so much is because it’s Ruby, also known as the color of Week 30 of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge!

Next, there is this GORGEOUS new hair from [elikatira]. I mean, which [elikatira] hair isn’t gorgeous, but I especially love this one. So casual and adorable! :-)

I’m crossing my fingers that Mochi Milena finally releases the Elly skin line of Pink Fuel soon, but we can only hope right?! See you all next week, I promise to have a style post up this week at some point! <33
